About Rovilla Construction

COMPANY BACKGROUND

Rovilla Construction started as a single proprietorship business owned and managed by Engr. Romeo A. Villaceran, a Civil Engineer in profession together with his wife Mrs. Violeta B. Villaceran, who took charge of Admin Operations. It started its construction business in October 1997 with a PCAB (Philippine Contractor’s Accredited Board) license Category C-Small A, which could undertake government projects of up to Three Million Pesos (Php 3,000,000.00).

Once qualified to participate in the bidding of projects in the DPWH, Rovilla Construction has been awarded numerous projects such as Barangay Hall Construction, Seawall Construction, School Building Construction, Multi-purpose Building Construction, and Road Concreting Construction. These projects were satisfactorily completed in accordance with the approved plans and specifications and on-time schedule of completion.

In the year 2000, from a modest number of eight(8) workers and one(1) bagger with mixer as their equipment, Rovilla Construction continued to grow bigger and expanded its operation by undertaking projects such as School Building Construction and Repair from the Department of Education (DepEd), Waterworks System (Level III) Construction, Bridge Construction, and School Building Construction from PEO (Provincial Engineer’s Office) of the Province of Cebu, and Road Concreting Projects from the DPWH.

Currently, Rovilla Construction can take on government projects up to 150,000,000 pesos (Php 150,000,000.00) because it has increased its Contractor’s Category to B-Medium A. In order to ensure project quality, it also expanded their workforce, adding 500 construction workers and technical personnel, and improved their construction services with the use of heavy machinery.
